Meet Sheba An Integrated Dental Hygienist in Arizona

Sheba Jones, RDH, MSDH is an Integrated Dental Hygienist at Dignity Health Hospital, where oral health has been an integral part of overall health for 13 years. Listen to her share about her roles as an affiliated practice hygienist in a medical setting and as adjunct faculty as Mesa Community College. She also shares how her hybrid role allows dental hygiene students a chance to experience medical collaboration in the ICU at Dignity.

You can sense Sheba's passion and love for her unique oral health educator roles.

Kudos to Arizona Board of Dentistry for making oral health more accessible and affordable for vulnerable populations with direct access for hygienists, and for allowing physicians to supervise RDHs for greater cost efficiency.
